Galaxy Nexus is appeared again in the Google Play store with “Add to Cart” button. Previously a week back we came to know that the phone was shipping out immediately, but with now the message is bit different saying that the devices will ship in 2-3 weeks’ time.

Since the Galaxy Nexus is going to ship with the amazing Jelly Bean the delay of 2-3 weeks is not a big concern for many of us. We all know that all these things happened following the Patent case filed by Apple.

After a very successful year in 2011, HTC have now announced the details of its new range of Android smartphones for 2012. One of the most exciting of these being the HTC One X, one of the leading new handsets and the first smartphone to feature quad core technology. It is also one of the first phones to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. There are many reasons why the HTC One X is special; it is both aesthetically pleasing and packed with great applications while at the same time being is a pioneer for some of the newest and most innovative features emerging in the smartphone market.

Even though it houses a whopping 4.7 inch super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen, the One X is lightweight and slim, weighing in at a mere 130 grams and 9.2 mm in width. The 720×1280 pixel resolution and the ultra-responsiveness of the screen work together to create an outstanding quality which displays HD movies web pages, games and pictures with a great degree of clarity, brightness, wide viewing angles and precision which has rarely been seen before.

The 1.5 GHz quad core processor chipset provides the device with great performance levels which increase the overall functionality of the phone making it ideal for multi-tasking. Everything from the touchscreen, graphics, application loading speed and response of the phone are improved by this powerful new chip, making it the fastest and most powerful smartphone, in regards to processing power, currently on the market. Regarding memory, the phone comes with 1 GB of RAM as well as a massive 32 GB of internal flash memory. The HTC One X does not come with a microSD slot which is unusual for an android smartphone, though with such a high amount of internal memory, it is high unlikely that the majority of users would ever need any further storage space.

Although the HTC One X possesses an 8 mega pixel camera like the earlier HTC Sensation, there are some added some new features and innovative capabilities, never seen on a smartphone before, which boost its performance and enhance its appeal. Instead of simply increasing the pixel count of the camera, HTC have added features such as the ability to capture 1080p HD video footage simultaneously while taking still photo images. The video quality has also been enhanced with extras such as video stabilisation capabilities, which helps to reduce the blurred effect caused by movements the phone may make during capture and stereo sound recordings.

The software package installed in the HTC One X is one of the most attractive aspects of this particular handset. The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating systems, together with the Sense 4.0 user interface create software that is easy to use and fast. Like most new HTC phones the One X comes with Beats Audio features, although unlike earlier handsets such as the Sensation XE and Sensation XL it does not come with Beats headphones included. Although users can use any headphones they like, the full range of Beats Audio features will only work with Beats Audio headphones.

This phone is definitely going to make a sensational stir in the smart phone market. Comparing HTC One X contracts at Best Mobile Contracts the phone is available for as little as £15 per month. It has reached new levels of technology and boasts a wide range of innovative features which create a great package for anyone in the market for a fabulous new phone.

Google Drive has been rumored for a very long time and we are all waiting to see when it’s going to be launched by Google. The recent rumors about the Google Drive have spread like anything and if this service is actually nearing a launch, it’s taken its sweet time.

Some pictures with details of Google Drive have emerged over the internet for a while. Its seems that the Google Drive will be coming with a 5 GB for free with the option to upgrade for more storage, and the source of this shot claims that it will be launching on April 16.

So, what you guys thinks about the 5 GB free offer from Google which is 3 GB extra when comparing with Dropbox free offerings?

In the world of unreality, you can pose any question. Could a band of incomplete misfits wandering down a yellow brick road really take a flying monkey? Do androids truly dream of electric sheep, or did Blade Runner just try and make that seem plausible? The possibilities are endless when you can suspend disbelief indefinitely. And lately, in the tech sphere, a question based on whispered rumours and scant detail has this blog delving ever deeper into the hypothetical in pitching the Samsung Galaxy S3 against the iPhone 5.

If this fight were real, it would be the Rumble in the Jungle, the Battle Royale, the final scene in Cars 2. Oh yes, we’re talking emotion, we’re talking shouted encouragement from a mismatched crowd of onlookers, and we are talking hype – lots of. So, who would be Ali in this battle of the behemoths? And who would be the lean, mean fat-reducing grilling machine?

Aesthetically, what the iPhone has in ubiquity and ease of recognition, the Samsung Galaxy models have traditionally made up for in size. And in a society where size matters, the ergonomic handsets that the Galaxy range has become so famous for should have a slight edge over the iPhone 5, especially given Apple’s marked ‘if it ain’t broke’ approach to design. If the iPhone 5 doesn’t feature a distinctive new look, the new ceramic backing of the Galaxy S3 might be enough to deliver a knockout blow.

The second bout is surely won by the upcoming iPhone, however, as the handset will most likely feature (deep breaths) iOS 6, given recent news that the iPad 3 will run with iOS 5.1. The Samsung Galaxy S3 will be running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and not the much-hyped Android 5.0 jelly Bean, which is a frank disappointment for those fans eagerly awaiting the new model.

It’s in terms of improvements that this discussion really takes on a Unicorn vs. Centaur feeling of hypothetical, because while rumours abound, next to nothing has been confirmed. The experts (read: obsessed bloggers) expect the iPhone 5 to ramp up to an A5X or A6 processor although it’s not yet known if this would be dual-core or quad-core. There’s also a possibility of LTE connectivity, an improved camera (possibly 12-megapixels), larger display and longer-lasting battery and NFC support could feature. Needless to say, all of this would be, in a word, deadly. Especially for Samsung.

But the Galaxy isn’t pulling any punches on this score either (metaphor wearing thin yet?).

It’s expected that the newest stud in the Samsung stable will include a quad-core processor (either 1.5GHz or 1.8GHz), 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, LTE connectivity, NFC and there’s also been mention of 3D support. Camera-wise it looks as though we could see either a 10 or 12-megapixel rear camera and the display for the Galaxy S3 could increase to a much larger 4.8-inches, possibly Super AMOLED Plus.

It’s clear that both handsets will be kitted to the teeth, armed and dangerous when it comes to tech spec, as well as very, very pretty. The laws of expectancy seem to suggest that the iPhone 5 can only match hopes, after almost a year of hype. If the Galaxy S3 delivers all that its whispered rumours have promised, however, we might well be looking at a Samsung shut-out. Should that prove to be the case, expect to hear cries of ‘I shoulda been a contender’ ringing from the bloodied Apple camp.
